Most people have their tv on the wall that is to the north...the other side of it is the kitchen. However, then your choice is to watch tv from a 90º angle or block the heater vent. And, like you said, you'd be 15' from the tv.

That is fine for all the folks who have the new monster tvs. We have the old fashioned 27" model. I remember back when that seemed huge, lol! However, when watched from 15' away...with people crossing in front of it all the time...it isn't such a wonder, lol!

I hope you figure something out. I've seen the deal on tv where you can buy rolls of graph paper and cut out the actual shape of your furniture, then rearrange the graph paper, saving the furniture for the final move. That always looked smart to me! Thing is, I have no idea where you get the paper or what it would cost. I guess for someone like you it would be an investment. If you keep the same furniture but move a lot, you could use the paper over and over!

Well, I need to go to the post office. I have bbq rub and sauce to mail to a friend in CO...and a card. The sauce is for Gina and Greg...a thank you for them buying us dinner. They're having a cook out with another friend of mine and her family next month. I thought they might enjoy some real KC sauce and rub.

The card is for the sister of the guy I was madly in love with for years in high school and college. Greg, not even knowing that I know Kelly, mentioned that she has terminal cancer. I guess it's our turn. Canon is cancer central.

Gina's mom, my mom, and our friend Patty's dad all got cancer at the same time. My mom died in December. Patty's dad died the next November. Gina's mom beat hers. Three women on the block I grew up on had cancer...two died. Gina's next door neighbor's mom died of cancer. My friend Rhonda's mom died of cancer. Gina and my sister have both had cancer. My friend Kay's husband is beating breast cancer. Need I go on??? People try to say the level there isn't unusual. Well, in Kansas City I know 3 people who have had cancer. All have beaten it. I don't know anyone my age who has had a parent die of cancer. There you are.

Anyway, I got a card for Kelly. To make things worse, she has daughters who are 6 and 3! She's been married over 20 years, but had fertility problems!!! How sad is that???

So, if you all want to keep Kelly in your prayers, it would be great. I promised her I'd pray for her, too.

To compound things, their dad has cancer, too. Gina said Kelly can't even talk about it, so she doesn't know how bad his is. He had several bad heart attacks back in the 80's...but just retired this month!

I swear...live in Canon City long enough and your chances of getting cancer have to be somewhere around 80%.

Well, off I go to the post office...and to buy paint. The boards in the room they gave me this year are mauve. I cannot live with mauve bulletin boards. I'm thinking of going Buzz Lightyear Blue. That paint is spendy, but I like it!
