It was a pretty day here. We did church and the nursing home as usual. I ran to Target in between the two to get my aunt some candy. I was hoping to find sheets for my bed (my "good" pair has an L-shaped rip from the washing machine) and a couch cover, too. I wanted a couch cover last fall before I had my money crisis.

Well, they had the couch cover...but it was $100. I'm gonna wait for a sale. No sheets. They had one pair I liked...that would match my bedroom stuff...but of course they didn't have it in queen size!

I did buy new burner pans for the stove. Yes, I know it was only $10 but it pisses me off that they expect me to do replacements on things like that. I was tempted to keep the old rusted ones (They were rusted when I moved in! I've had them covered in aluminum foil for 12 years!) but decided I'll just send a copy of the bill and take $10 off my rent.

Oh, btw, I'm still getting the monthly letter about having credit. UGH. Idiots.

Well, gotta get the kids in the bath. I had to run to get cat litter just now. I thought I had half a 25 lb bag...nope, just a tiny bit in the bottom!

My garage remote isn't working. They gave me two. One died 10 years ago. The other one is giving up the ghost. I tried new batteries, but it still won't work. What a pita. I'm going to call them tomorrow and see if they have an extra I can go get.

That's my joy. I have a ton of cleaning to do. I spent the day doing nothing...funny how easy it is to do that!
