Are you still having contractions every 4 minutes??? Did they stop completely?

Sad to say, I had a coworker who did just that. They tried to induce her...and it didn't work. After 8 hours of labor they sent her home.

Then she went into labor on her own, not once but 3 times. I felt so sorry for her! It wasn't her first baby either. Her doc wasn't worried, and the actual delivery went fine.

It just took the baby and her body a looong time to decide to get down to business.

Can you splurge and do something amusing...take up a new craft or something to distract yourself from the issue for now? Not that anything much will help, but maybe if you bought some pottery to paint...or materials to make birth announcements so you and Tegan could construct them...everything but the page with the actual information. Or go buy the cloth panels to make an "It's a Boy" wall hanging and quilt it...and decorate it with sequins, jewels, and paint. I did those sorts of things he last 2 or 3 weeks of each pregnancy...it was fun and filled time so I didn't just sit and stew, lol!

Hang in there! I promise I won't ask again...so if you have news, be sure to update us!
Beth
