I'm with you on summer. I left PD yesterday and realized that school starts for me in 3 weeks. That's just not right! Our school calendar for next year is even worse.

It just makes me regret having chosen to teach more than ever. At least when I started teaching you did get almost 3 full months off...and you had some flexibility with life. Now it's like being a slave. They keep adding more and more days, which are never reflected in the pay we get.

I'm glad you found a great restaurant to go to! The prices at that first one were so high that I would never have been able to enjoy myself there! Everyone here raves about The Melting Pot...then they mention that just dessert there costs around $50! I guess you're paying for the prep work...all the time it takes to cut the food up...or something. Those spendy places aren't my cup of tea.
