春疫將盡，夏日快至；至少大家都希望如此。美國傳媒，卻早已把這個將至的夏天，稱為「續集之夏」（Summer of Sequels）。
以美國計法，今年六月廿一日才正式是夏季開始。但自本周末起一直到八月底，荷里活銀幕就會被接二連三（名副其實是「接二」、「連三」）的續集電影所佔據，起碼十來部！
單單五月份，就有《變種特攻2》及《廿二世紀殺人網絡2: 決戰未來》；這兩部大片續集，不看不可，不必多講。
今夏的大片續集尚有：《狂野時速續集》、《神探俏嬌娃續集》、《盜墓者羅拉續集》、《重案夢幻組續集》等等。以上全是「接二」的第二集，單看牌面，未必部部能獲佳績。
論到「連三」的第三集，卻肯定有一部可以不戰而勝，絕對稱王，正是──《未來戰士第三集》！你可知道，《未來戰士續集》哄動一時的那年是一九九一，我們竟等咗足足十二年了！
第四集都有，是較鮮為人知的《Exorcist: The Beginning》（暫譯《驅魔人前傳》），諗起都想嘔。還有一部不知第幾集了，是于仁泰執導的《Freddy vs Jason》──《猛鬼街大戰殺人狂》！反而有啲興趣喎！
