市面上推出了一款電飯煲，居然還可以用來焗蛋糕；大家看到它的電視廣告，無不嘖嘖稱奇。
早前家中需要添置電飯煲，便到處研究、格價，自然也留意到該款電飯「糕」；本來對它興趣不大，敬而遠之，心想：「作為一個電飯煲，好心妠N專心煮飯啦，搞咁多嘢做乜？」誰知，因為一個「貪」字，我還是把它買了回家。
貪的是便宜。在大百貨公司的電器部，見到電飯「糕」定價八百元，咁貴，當然不考慮。去到連鎖電器店，見它只售七百多，慶幸自己剛才沒有買。後來，在家附近的街坊式電器鋪，居然又見到它，卻只標價五百八！明明是同一型號，同樣是行貨，價格居然可以有二百多元的上落，簡直不相信自己的眼睛。於是買下它，令自己相信。
開頭幾天，試用它煮飯煮粥，不在話下。然後某日開始心癢癢：不如試下整蛋糕？於是四處張羅材料：麵粉、雞蛋、牛油、糖……混和，用人手攪拌一大輪，感覺是：應該再買埋攪拌機……
把攪好的蛋糕漿放入電飯「糕」，自動焗約半小時，一個金黃色香噴噴的牛油蛋糕真的誕生！係我親手造㗎！食落口，唔，都可以的……雖然質感比較像鬆糕，但起碼不是「糟糕」！
