本以為會考放榜與我無關，但諗諗下，小弟其實有個親戚是應屆考生，好應該關心一下他。
他是我表哥的兒子A仔（我的表姪？），細細個已移民加拿大。但近年我表哥舉家回歸香港，A仔也跟隨回港升讀中學。
起初我以為，A仔自小在加國受教育，一定不會習慣（甚至討厭）這種以應付公開試為本的「港式科舉教育」；誰知他曾對我說：「我反而鍾意在香港讀書，因為咁樣谷法先學到嘢；加拿大的學校太寬鬆，對學生冇要求，所以冇嘢學到。」當時即對這小伙子另眼相看，覺得他並非池中物。
會考放榜日下午，我上網時見A仔在ICQ，便馬上問他「是否OK」。可他似乎心情不好，有點Down地回答：「還可以吧，5A囉……」
乜話！5A？直情要慶祝啦，做乜咁Down？「唉，其他Phy.、Chem.、Bio.等理科，全部都係得B，好唔抵……」
天！我的這位表姪，拿到5A4B的佳績，我真的為他感到自豪！但他明顯對此成績不滿，沒有半絲高興的情緒，何解？
照計，A仔在港要入哪間大學都絕無問題。看來他不開心，乃因為他志不在港，而是一心希望考進美加更高班數的學府！
唉，港大中大，你們能留得住這種人才嗎？
