最近在書店中見到一本《聖經密碼2：倒數計時》，馬上拿上手瞄一瞄。
前作《聖經密碼》於一九九七年出版時，曾引起頗大哄動，榮登暢銷書榜之餘，更一度成為國際頭條新聞。我當年也買了一部中譯本，至今卻一直未讀完，書簽仍夾在第一百三十三頁（全書約二百七十頁）。
誰知，前作未讀完，續作又已出籠。手上這冊，是今年六月出版的台灣中譯本，英文原著則於去年十二月出版；事隔五年，到底作者Michael Drosnin（卓思寧）有乜新意念、新見解？
答案係：冇！講得清楚啲，就係繼續事後孔明馬後炮！
書的頭一章，就大談「聖經密碼」一早已準確預言了「九一一事件」云云，說甚麼「雙塔」、「飛機」、「爆炸」等字眼的確有隱藏在密碼之中。──嘩，如果在上一集你咁寫，就話你係先知啫；而家事後先咁樣對號入座法，點可以話係預言呀？
翻到最後面，見全書結論是：「聖經密碼」預言二○○六年會有全球核子戰爭。還以為這是新論點；可是當我返家把前作找出來，打開書簽夾住的一三三頁，正好見此章名為「世界大戰」，預言將發生在二○○○及二○○六……吁，決定不買第二集，真明智！
