有一位記者行家，託朋友傳話給我，問《星島副刊》有否空缺，他很想轉工云云。
其實近大半年來，經常遇到搵工的查詢。唯以往來探路的，大多是失業中的記者、編輯；像這位本身仍有工在身的，比較罕見，遂好奇地問他為何要轉工。
原來，他現職的某本潮流資訊月刊，最近進行大改革，在老闆的指令下大灑鹽花；從前該雜誌封面多以名人明星為主角，現在卻不理好醜，隨便找一些肯脫的女模特兒拍封面照，布穿得愈少愈好，表情亦愈姣愈妙。老闆要如此做，只有一個目的：挽救銷量！
那位記者愈做愈覺不對勁。改革的頭幾期，封面女郎全力露肉，但身上還總算是有件泳衣（或內衣）；可是最新一期，封面女郎竟然一絲不掛，百分百全裸，只以捲曲的姿勢來遮掩重要部位，驟眼看還以為是一本鹹書！但與其說是誘人，倒不如說是嚇人吧！他自問如此下去，再無面目跟人說自己是該本雜誌的記者，故萌去意。
據知，該雜誌如此改革後，銷量並沒有大改善，反而廣告量下跌了！其實，稍為懂得做雜誌的人，都應知道賣肉絕非靈丹妙藥，只是「春藥」而已！就算「起」得一時，必然後患無窮！
