最近走進影碟店，你會發現正在熱賣中的幾片最新DVD/VCD，片名都熟口熟面。因為，它們全都是今夏（甚至今秋）剛剛放映完的片子，彷彿才落畫不久，一轉眼間就推出碟子了！
這種情形，在港產片已見怪不怪，但我今次所說的卻是荷里活西片：《廿二世紀殺人網絡2：決戰未來》（五月二十二日在港上映）、《變形俠醫》（六月十九日）、《神探俏嬌娃2：指環密令》（六月二十六日）、《未來戰士3：殲滅者TX》（七月十日）、《海底奇兵》（七月十七日）……這幾部大片，在港上畫全部不出三、四個月，就已有DVD/VCD推出。
沒有那麼「大」的片，情況更誇張。一部《忠奸道》（九月十一日在港上映），一部《狂野極速》（九月十八日），都已有碟在賣，即是說上畫個多月後就出碟了。
咁快出碟，是好是壞？見仁見智吧。有人會因而更加失去幫襯戲院的意欲，寧可等新片上畫後三兩個月，才買碟回去自己的「家庭影院」，獨個兒閉門欣賞；這叫做「自閉式睇戲」。
但真正愛電影的人，是不會離棄電影院的。再者，若一部很令人期待的新片，要多等三兩個月才看，我才等不及呢！
