「邵氏」的七百多部電影，終於以DVD和VCD形式重新面世；各位影迷們，總算等到了！
這批電影一向鮮有在電視播出，就連錄影帶也從未推出過；換言之，它們自廿幾卅年前（或更久）上畫落畫後，就一直沒有機會被重溫，直到今天。
當中，實有太多人所共知的經典作，難以一一細數。但其中有兩部，是我個人特別期待的；一部剛剛推出了，叫做《猩猩王》！
這部七七年的作品，簡單來說，就是科幻特技片《金剛》的香港版。其故事與荷里活的《金剛》有八成相似，只是片中巨大猩猩肆虐的舞台，由紐約變成香港。戲肉一幕，巨猩爬上當時仍是全港最高的康樂大廈，實在令人感動！──我是指當時年紀小小的我，在電視上看到此片的宣傳時，大為感動，即刻央求父母帶我去看。
但，父母又怎會讓我看這種「睇壞細路」的電影？於是，小小心願未遂，抱憾至今，足足廿多年！
這天，我終於買了《猩猩王》DVD，開心之極！嘩，原來男主角是李修賢呢！無巧不成話，我期待的另一部「邵氏」作品，亦由他領銜主演，叫做：《中國超人》！
