假如一切順利的話，來自澳洲的鱷魚專家，在這一兩天就會把南生圍鱷魚捕獲。
故此，大可以作出以下預告：繼早前科學館航天展大排長龍後，下一個香港的「忽然人氣」參觀點，正是位於中區的「動植物公園」；因它將會是鱷魚的暫時棲身所。
舊稱「兵頭花園」的「動植物公園」，雖就近鬧市，向來卻遊人不多，部分香港人甚至不知道有這個「動物園」存在。但老實說，稱之為「動物園」乃相當牽強，因它所設置的獸籠規模很有限，蒐集的哺乳類和爬行類動物數目只百來頭，且泰半為猴類，當中比較有看頭的唯美洲虎與婆羅洲猩猩而已。如此陣容，不能算是「動物園」吧，頂多只是「附設獸籠的公園」，對市民及遊客的吸引力自然不大。
可這次鱷魚若順利「入住」並作公開展示，那就不同了！目前園中最大的爬行類動物，應是緬甸蟒蛇及馬來西亞巨龜，可是兩者加起來，怎及身長四呎、血盆大口、孔武有力的生猛鱷魚來得可觀？可以肯定，屆時市民會扶老攜幼，自四方八面湧來一賭鱷魚真貌，人龍定會出現！
建議公園到時收取參觀費，乘機籌募經費，以改善一下設施吧！
