來了！終於來了！
前陣子才跟朋友討論，到底繼 LD、VCD、DVD 之後，新一代的影碟何時會出現？據我的估計，當見到釵h經典電影、劇集都已推出 DVD Box Set（珍藏版）的話，即 DVD 食老本已食得七七八八之時，則距離新的影碟媒體面世之期不遠了！
話口未完，「路透社」日前發布了一段消息，謂一種新的影碟制式已經出現，叫做 EVD（Enchanced Versatile Disc）。但最令人意外的是，EVD 並非由一貫的電子強國（如日本、德國、美國等）開發，而是由現時 DVD 機產量最多的國家開發；邊一國？咪就係中國囉！
──唔講唔知，原來中國於二○○二年的 DVD 機產量，達三千萬部，其中約二千萬部出口到世界各地，佔世界市場七成之多！怪唔之得連大隻佬州長阿諾舒華辛力加，都要接拍國產 DVD 機廣告啦！
中國之所以會搶先開發出 EVD，完全是希望早日打破 DVD 之攏斷局面。要知道，基於 DVD 的專利，每生產一部 DVD 機或一隻 DVD 碟，生產商都要付若干費用給專利持有人，主要是日本公司。但若他日世界各地轉用 EVD 的話，中國就可以反過來賺取極豐厚的專利費了！（二之一）
