現今已是互聯網極其普及的年代，但我知道，香港有好些大機構、大公司的辦公室，雖已電腦化，卻仍未做到「人人可上網，一人一電郵」。
究其原因，不是那些公司在技術上、經濟上做不到，而是公司I.T.政策不允部F但所謂I.T.政策的背後，說穿了，只不過是老闆們不想員工在辦公時間內上網、收發私人電郵而已。
真想問問那些老闆：貴公司有何方法，可防止員工在辦公時間內談私人電話？若無法防止，不如連電話都唔好裝吖笨！
想落真可笑。這種老闆的心態，與晚清「閉關自守」無異，始終有日要屈服於大趨勢而「解禁」，否則必使公司落後於人。
記得有次，我用電腦把文章打好，欲以E-mail交稿給某大報館編輯，豈料對方道：「我喺公司冇E-mail㗎，你Fax過來啦！」結果我要列印出來（浪費我一張紙），傳真過去（浪費他們一張紙），他們要找人重新打字（浪費人力）；三重浪費再加浪費時間，減低效率，咁又何苦呢？
幸而，我現在効力的《星島》不是這樣的公司，其I.T.政策十分開明，真正「人人可上網，一人一電郵」。就算話我擦鞋，都要在此讚一讚！
