還有三天，就到二○○四年了。要回顧○三年的香港，我會用以下一句話：「這是怪獸肆虐的一年，這是超人抬頭的一年。」
今年在香港出現的「怪獸」真的特別多，諸如「超速颱風怪」、「蠱惑小鱷魚」等，但若要選「全年最猛怪獸」，則非「沙士」莫屬。小小的冠狀病毒，竟然可以化身為超級大怪獸，在香港、台灣、中國內地、東南亞以至北美等地橫行無忌，殺人於無形，其殺傷力絕對勁過「哥斯拉」！
不過，唔使怕；怪獸既已出來，超人還會遠麼？有了「沙士」，我們才得以發現，原來一直喬裝為特首夫人的那位女士，其真正身分就是傳說中的「幪面超人」！雖然她今次沒有親自打低怪獸，但她的現身，卻令大家醒覺到，「超人們」一直就在我們身邊：例如緊守崗位的醫生、護士……有些，在作戰中甚至犧牲了自己的生命，其浩氣卻永遠長存。
暫時擊退「沙士」後，居然有更多的「超人」來港湊熱鬧！姚明、奧雲、碧咸、朗拿度、滾石等，這釵h港人心目中的「超人」，都紛紛駕臨！然後，就是真真正正的「中國超人」：楊利偉來了！
「怪獸現，超人來」，就是○三年的簡單總結。
