大家都會十分記得這個羊年。若干年後，寫香港歷史的人，無論他寫的是政治史、經濟史、醫學史、娛樂史甚或名人野史，他都一定會花上特別多的篇幅，來描述這個羊年。
總算捱過了。但，最重要的是，我們到底在這一年內，學到了甚麼？個人而言，有以下五點：
一，做名人代價太大：做高官，沒有了正常的家庭生活，連買架新車亦非等閒家事；做明星，賠上了一切私隱，還分分鐘保不住自己的健康。兩者，過的都是非人生活，吾不欲為也。
二，銀行絕對不是朋友：你一沉，它便踩，可以一夜之間跟你反面，取消你所有信用卡、追討你所有欠款，話之你以前給它賺過多少利息，照樣逼你入絕路。以後，如無必要，絕不向銀行借貸。
三，不一定要買樓：這幾年間生活質素最不受惡劣經濟影響的人，正是從來只租屋不買樓的一族，這大大沖擊了以往一定要買樓的思維。
四，病向淺中醫：無論是「沙士」抑或癌症，愈早找醫生，治癒機會愈高。
五，儲錢交稅：雙糧、花紅不是「老奉」的。一旦兩者欠奉，稅關難過！
其實以上幾點，乃十分簡單顯淺的道理；為何我們總要在歷劫後，才深刻入腦？
