Date Posted: 16:13:05 04/01/03 Tue how about you keep the donations for yourself and let's have a public vote on where you should live for a year. maybe after that you will learn to really love america, and start acting like an american. the trip just might help you mature into a thoughtful person too! i choose not to focus on the war for this, because i am not in iraq and i have no direct experience with war. lets just speak about whats going on here in US- if you're educated and read the news often you must be aware of the many newly implemented laws passed by the bush administration. i am especially concerned about those that attack citizens' first admendment rights and privacy. people ARE getting arrested for voicing "unpopular" views, people ARE being detained without legal counsel because they are immigrants, people are having websites shut down because they oppose the president. people ARE slowly losing their constitutional rights! what if your views became "unpopular" one day, will you call yourself an anti american? and how about you getting a visit from the fbi (i can arrange for that much easier now with bush's citizen surveillance programs) because your website is childish, aggressive, and bit fanatic. thus your public displays for the international world reflects poorly on america- and now you mysteriously dissapear. . . . it doesn't mean that because he is the president, he has to be your god. and if you love america, for what it can be- and what it always tries to be. you will PROTECT it! you will stand up for it, on a daily basis. the america you live in is indeed made up of people no? the millions of americans in US who get off their asses to each demonstration are doing even YOU a favor by voicing concerns for YOUR rights. to ensure the protection of average, normal citizens rights in america. so as you passively indulge in these freedoms without care, heart (or a brain rather) you in fact are the worst american. and if you believe you support the troops best by keeping them in the battlefield and sustaining the war- you are a foolish human being. please only reply to this post if you have something intelligent to say, thanks.
