that was the issue I had. I totally disagree that congress had the right to give that power to the president. Congress has not declared war against Iraq, congress did authorize force; however, Bush hasn't even gone through the formality of asking for a declaration of war. I think that it is important that we heed this seperation of powers because the people can hold the individual members of congress to their votes. I'm sorry if my anger represents itself as rhetoric, I would much rather exchange ideas than generalizations and attacks
