When they give you your weeks they automatically add on two weeks.

For example, I'm 6 weeks and 3 days but my gestational age for my baby (actual time baby has been in me) is 4 weeks 3 days.

If you're 2 weeks past ovulation then you're actually what they consider 4 weeks along and yes, many find out around this time or earlier.

It's weird, I know but this is how they do it---gestational age and 'weeks along" are different.

Congrats. YOu might want to check out a due date calculator online to see exactly how many weeks you're counted as being.
