First of all it was a small class only six of us and the nicest nurse I have ever met! Anyway we toured and I am so pleased with the hospital. The birthing center is separate from the main part of the hospital so you don't feel like you're even in one. The rooms are HUGE!!! And the nurse said they rarely fill up all of them at once. It is a smaller hospital and I am so glad I will be delivering there. They REQUIRE us to write a birth plan. Yeah! How cool is that?? And they don't really have a nursery, the baby stays with me in my room. Everything as far as tests, etc happen in my room. WOW! I am just so darn excited. And I found out they have a one-to-one ratio for nurses and patients. While I am in labor and delivering I have only one nurse!! And she only has me as a patient! Cool!!! So needless to say DH and I are pleased and glad we only live five minutes away or we might have chosen somewhere else!
