We bought it new at Sears about 6 months ago. So far I've been pleased with it. It has 2 of the sliding baskets on top, which people either seem to love or hate ;) I don't mind them myself. I use them to corral all the smaller items. Definitly keep an eye out for the Energy Star rating. I didn't really notice any difference in our electric bill at all.

Ironically, I havn't done a lot of OMAC since we got it, although this is one of the main reasons I wanted one (blush). That's what happens when you start a new job at the same time you buy a new freezer! I imagine you'd be OK, even though the one you're looking at is smaller then the freezer you currently have. I managed to do OMAC for over half a year with just the freezer over our fridge (although it was only for the 2 of us).

HTH!

Holly
