Subject: Baer test for deaf dogs

Hi--I currently have a 3yo white deaf boxer. I have been told that the 'Baer' test can be done to determine 'how deaf' a dog is. I also read somewhere (sorry I forgot the source) that the test was painful for the dog. Can anyone send me in the direction of reading more info on this test. I recently found out that my dog might be able to hear a very high pitch tone. Thanks
