It frustrates me that the AKC doesn't allow deaf dogs to compete. I'm hoping Jericho (my mostly deaf Shelite) can open some eyes to this issue.

Rally-O is a great sport to do with a deaf dog. My Sheltie loves for me to "talk" to him thoughout the run, instead of just giving a command and having to remain "silent" until the behavior is finished. He's having a great time with that, although agility seems to be his first love.

Sounds like you do have your hand full with that many foster dogs! You're doing important work with them.
