In my opinion, Luna's deafness won't play much of a part in the dogs getting along. My deaf Sheltie lives happily with my two hearing dogs.

It's not really necessary to worry about Luna's deafness being a problem because I can't imagine it would. It will be just like adding any dog to the household.

The only thing I've noticed with my deaf Sheltie is that he can't hear other dogs growl. My dogs have actually quit growling at him, and now just show teeth. That works find for him. He gets that message strong and clear!

If I were you, I'd be thinking about the situation as if Luna were a hearing dog, and ask the questions of myself I'd ask if I were adding any dog to the household.

Good luck! I hope, if you decide to get Luna, that the addition to your household goes smoothly.
