>So, what you are also saying that anyone slips and falls during prelims or finals should not be placed. For someone who has been watching these pageants for humphmillion years-you have forgotten the most famous slip in MU history-1998 Miss Philippines. What carried her to the finals and as 1st RU is how she carried herself apres fall. Miss USA did the best she recovery from that fall, she got up and worked the catwalk the way any red blooded American would do. Her score she earned was how she carried herself NOT how the dress carried her and definetly NOT because the judges felt oh so sorry for her! Another pageant advise (if you havent forgotten).Missy, you need to take a bite of humble pie-because I bet you have not done what Miss USA did-my bet is that you would have cried off that stage!

I can't believe that there was such brazen cheating at
>the Miss Universe pageant this year. The judges put
>Miss USA throught even though she fell flat on her
>butt during the evening gown competition. Then they
>had the nerve to give other contestants sevens so that
>she could make the top 5. Then when the entire
>audience booed Miss USA because she got a pass some
>media tried to make it for political reasons. I've
>been watching pageants since I was a little girl and
>you can not advance to the next round after falling.
>I have lost faith in this pageant for sure
