*it does not sound like someone's voice. Dewrose walks slowly into the hall, playing a familiar tune on her violin. She plays a last mounful note an sing to the tune she just played*
As the black bird in the spring,
'neath the willow tree,
sat and piped,
I heard him sing,
In praise of Aura Lee.
*she plays the final verse on her violin and sits down on a bench.* Does anyone have requests?

| "Angel of Music"! Or "Music of the Night". I can do that, if you don't know it, just tell me! (NT) | --------- | 03:14:01 11/08/01 Thu |

Oy vay! That's about the extent of my jewish, although my Dad speaks it. Kinda. I am like, 1/8th Jewish, but I have nooooo idea what that said furrtil! I only inherrited the sense of humor! (p.s. I love el shadi, and Music of the night and fiddler on the roof!) Actually, I know more Jewish, but how to spell it, eek! So, Shalom! (NT) | Katikcha | 09:01:47 11/08/01 Thu |
| *plucks briefly at the strings of his violin to make sure it's still in tune. Raising it to his shoulder, he winks* Care to join me in a Celtic song? *begins to play at lightning speed, nodding for her to start whenever she wants* (NT) | Dakkan who loves Celtic fiddle! | 01:14:44 11/09/01 Fri |
| *laughs and begins twirling and leaping, her paws moving around her at a rapid speed. She hikes up her skirt, always leaping in time* Ooo! this is fun! I always did like dancing to Celtic music! Wheeheeheehee! (NT) | Nightband | 02:49:57 11/09/01 Fri |
| *taps her foot to Dartpaw's beat and finds the right tune, so she starts to play* | Dewrose | 20:36:55 11/09/01 Fri |
| *smiles* Oy vey, which i say all the time, is yiddish not hebrew, and i wrote g-d cuz i think that you shouldn't write g-ds name on something that can be throwed away or disrespected. Ooh, celtic/scottish tunes!! I don't know much about them but the few I've heard sound awesome!!!! | Furrtil, 100% Jewish | 01:35:09 11/10/01 Sat |

| I see...hmmm...I never thought of that... Well, I've got an exerpt of a song I memorized (actually, the whole darn thing is stuck in my head right now). Let's see if anybeast can guess what it's from: 'Angel of Music, why this torment? When will you see reason? Angel of Music, you deceived me! I gave my mind blindly!' Any guesses? (NT) | Nightband | 04:04:35 11/10/01 Sat |
| *his paw is a blur as he finishes the song with a string of really fast notes. Walking over to Dewrose, he shakes her paw* Good job mate, I haven't had anyone before who c'd keep up with me! Want t' do another one, you start? (I'd make up words an' start singin' along but unfortunately to call my singin' voice toadlike is a discrace to the toad.) (NT) | Dakkan | 22:13:53 11/10/01 Sat |
| *chuckles and then bursts into another song* In sleep he sang to me...in dreams he came...that voice which calls to me, and speak my name...and do I dream again? For now, I find...the Phantom of the Opera is there, inside my mind! (you do the next verse, Katikcha) (NT) | Nightband who absolutely loves the Phantom of the Opera!!! | 17:52:23 11/11/01 Sun |
| ooc: Oops! That was supposed to "speaks my name" not "speak my name"! Sorry... :P (NT) | Nightband | 17:53:34 11/11/01 Sun |
*Smiles* If you insist. *She starts singing the sad and haunting (bad pun girl!) song* "Sing once again with me our strange duet... My power over you grows stronger yet.... And though you turn from me, to glance behind, the Phantom of the Opera is there - inside your mind..." Your turn Nightband, although I don't know how I got to be the Phantom! My Favorite is.. (inside!) | Katikcha AKA The Phantom of the Opera! | 05:09:16 11/13/01 Tue |
| *smiles* Yah, I like that one, too. I really like the ones where the Phantom and Christine are in his lair in the cellars, including the end. I don't know why...I also like "Pas the Point of No Return" from the Pahntom's Opera, "Don Juan Triumphant!" *clears her throat* Those who have seen your face, draw back in fear....I am the mask you wear.... Go ahead and continue, Katikcha, but first, listen to this! Inside>>>>>>>> | Nightband | 02:53:57 11/14/01 Wed |
| Ummm....Katikcha.....? You there....? Doesn't anyone have a comment for the song I sang in the message above?!!! (NT) | Nightband | 02:55:24 11/15/01 Thu |
| Sorry, didn't have time to reply yesterday! *Clears her voice* It's me they hear . . . I love that song Nightband! | Katikcha or the Phantom! | 05:54:00 11/15/01 Thu |
| *grins* It's ok. I was just getting a little worried. *she begins to sing the part where they both are supposed to sing* Your spirit and my voice, in one combined...! The Phantom of the Opera is there, inside my mind... Your turn to sing your half of that verse. Remember to change the "your", the "my", and the other "my" part! *she giggles* (NT) | Nightband or Christine Daae | 03:09:58 11/16/01 Fri |
*hums a scale* My spirit and your voice, in one combinded...! The Phantom of the Opera is there, inside your mind... *Turns around and sings* He's there, the Phantom of the Opera .... Beware, the Phantom of the Opera *turns back* In all your fantasies, you always knew, that man and mystery . . . Your turn! (NT) | The Phantom | 04:12:19 11/17/01 Sat |
| It is wonderful! There are so many gorgeous songs...and the Phantom's voice is always gorgeous!! At least, I think so.... (NT) | Nightband | 16:09:58 11/17/01 Sat |
| Hehe, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks the Phantom's voice is gorgeous...when I saw it, the person who played the Phantom sounded JUST LIKE THE ORIGINAL, MICHAEL CRAWFORD!!! And the girl who played Chrsitine SOUNDED JUST LIKE SARAH BRIGHTMAN!! I was soooooo excited!! The only diff. with this Phantom and the original is that this one was younger...much younger. :) (NT) | Nightband | 04:55:50 11/18/01 Sun |
:) I sometimes catch myself singing it in the halls of my school, or singing them at recess. I check the cd set out from the library a lot, but I'm going to get it for my birthday. I looooooooooovvvvvvveeee it so much!!! (NT) | Nightband | 22:15:21 11/19/01 Mon |
| Yeah, Raoul. You know, its stange, because even though the Phantom doesn't really exist today, I feel extreme pity for him...never had any love, even from his mother, always hated...you know what I'm saying? *sigh* I just don't think that's right!! (NT) | Nightband | 22:56:10 11/20/01 Tue |
Yeah, you're right...but I think that was because he had never had anyone like him and he always suffered...so he wanted to make 'em suffer, but I still have to say what he did was waaaaaaayyyy wrong! (NT) | Nightband | 04:04:43 11/22/01 Thu |
