Christine

the marriage of Robert RITCHIE and Ann BURNS is on the LancashireBMD index....married in 1884 at Our Lady's, St Nicholan and St Anne's. If you don't already have the marriage certificate, you can click the link and the application form is alreay completed for you to send.

Many thanks for your interest Sue. I have the marriage certificate after getting the references from Bmd I also have the certificate of Roberts father and mother. However there are still a lot of holes left in the research as I cannot seem to find what happened to the family re deaths and burials and the births of his parents William and Margaret in Scotland. I have spent some time down at the Liverpool Record Office so maybe I will be able to unearth some more information there.
