I don't see how we beat Michigan in 2010, 2011, or for that matter, the next four years.

This possibility was unrealized by the tainted opinions of a vast majority of NDNation posters.

The fallacy of NDnation.com is the non-tolerance and group-think.

Observers who objectively came to the conclusion that Richard Rodriguez's laudable coaching ability would possibly prevail were mocked.

Far too many posters present a skewed and unrealistic perspective.

Forget the game. This should be a moment of self examination for the ND Nation community.

We need this week, as a community, to examine the merit of the commentary presented on these boards. Our reactions and lack of inclusion of dissenting opinions is reason enough to perhaps reconsider the standards that constitute the general consensus of ND Nation.

In the most simplified terms, I ask: "Given the level of inaccurate commentary/analysis on these boards, can the posters here still be relevant?"

More frequently, I encounter alumni who disregard any and all thoughts that originate from these forums. We need to use today's failure to introspectively analyze our miscalculations and recognize that this forum should embody an archetype of free expression regardless of the uncomfortable feelings that it will inevitably manufacture in the ND Fan Base.

I wrote a post that was completely out of line tonight.

310Dillon, coalcracker, ndalberta, RandalGraves, passrightblog, Slotts, GailStanwyck, and others- please accept my sincerest appreciation for your kind words and sincerest apologies.

I have sent a personal letter to the Board Ops apologizing for my poor conduct. My attempt to express a point was poorly articulated and arrogant. I owe the Board Ops and the ND Nation community an apology.

Let me state in earnest that ND Nation has done a tremendous service to the alumni, fans, and friends of Notre Dame.

I greatly appreciate everything the Board Ops have done.

Once again, I am truly sorry for my conduct and will self-impose a break from ND Nation so that I may reflect my methods and improve my contributions.
