Report a bit of bad news and they can you. Actually, the Arnett interview was only a little bit worse than some of the other "analyst's" reports that Bush, Myers and Rumsfeld hate so much. And I'm pretty sure that they all are very surprised at the level of anti-Americanism in Iraq. They should have listened to Arnett before launching this misadventure.

Even so these embedded reporters are a joke. They are nothing but cheerleaders and proAmerican propaganda. While I have seen hundreds of hours of actual WWII combat film and dead bodies, I have yet to see even one minute of combat in this war or even one dead body. Meanwhile, the American press berates Al-Jazeera for actually reporting the war.

The American "press" is nothing more than a ratings battle, feeding the American people just what they want to see and having very little to do with news reporting.

No wonder they spend so much time reporting surveys of what people think.
