Subject: We've lost another one

Ricardo Montalban died today at age 88.

I fell in love with Ricardo Montalban as a kid watching a rerun of TOS Space Seed. I loved him in Fantasy Island, & he MADE ST-TWOK!

He was a wonderful actor, Faithful husband of 63 years to his wife, the late Georgiana Young (D-2007) (Sister of actress Loretta Young.). He was born in Mexico, but he was of Spanish descent.

I was sitting here, after hearing about Ricardo Montelban's death, thinking about his fine performance in Wrath of Khan. He was simply outstanding. And then I started thinking about all the people from that movie that we have lost. DeForest Kelley, Jimmy Doohan, Bibi Besch, Merritt Butrick, Paul Winfield, and now Ricardo Montelban. sigh
