Even if you're no longer following the comics, have you seen any of the other media pick up on the latest in reboots for Wonder Woman? I'm dying to know what you think of it! My first thought was: "they pulled the rug out from under Donna Troy again!"

I'm more concerned about the apparent origin revamp. Diana grew up on Paradise Island with the Amazons. She wasn't raised in a modern city. It just doesn't fly in my book.

Not only has this version not grown up on Paradise Island, but she seems to have had her age dialed back to the 18-19 range again! Donna Troy is once again the older sister without a background of her own (gee, thanks!), and yet another DC creator seems more comfortable with a Diana who is more girl then woman <sigh>

At least this seems to be being played as some sort of temporal tampering that some villain (?) has done to the Amazons, rather than just another chronal blip in the DCU's space-time continuum, so it seems designed to be reverted back to normal. Honestly, tho, anyone who thinks that WW's problem is that her back story hasn't been screwed with enough has no business writing anything except apologies!
