Loving the JB series

I've been reading the JB series for a few months now. Talk about being late to a great series! haha! I just wanted to express how amazing reading this series has been for me. This series and the stories therein are what we all wished Voyager was back in the day, right? I didnt get into Voyager or Star Trek until I was 16. My mother had just undergone massive back surgery and, well, there's not many channels in a hospital. lol. I got into Voyager at that time and fell in love with the show.
Afterwards, I started watching any and all Star Trek to immerse myself in the Trek universe. I didn't pay much attention to the J/7 subtext at first, seeing as how I was just wanting to catch up on the show itself. A friend of mine made mention of the subtext after the show had ended and when I went back and watched a few episodes, I was surprised to find all the subtext(Late, once again. lol) I didn't start reading the fanfiction right away, though. I browsed sites for different pairings from different shows and, only recently, have I discovered the wondeful world of J/7 fanfiction. (Finding authors that could write the pairing in a believeable way was something that kept me from searching for so long)
This series is the first set of stories I've read featuring Janeway and Seven. I picked a good first choice. haha! I remember, now, that the friend who had first told me of the subtext also made mention of this series years ago. I'm glad I finally checked it out. I'm currently reading the 4th season of the JB series. Knowing I've got the 5th season as well as the Millennium series to look forward to is awesome! It's funny how a series can stay with you for so many years. I was 16 when I got into Voyager. Now, at 25, I find that I've fallen for the show all over again through this series.
To say that these stories and the author who wrote them are amazing would be the biggest understatement. Yet, I can't find any other words to express myself. So, to the author, thanks for sharing your creative mind with us through these stories(and thanks for keeping the site up for soo long for people like me who are late to the show)
