Duke was rolling before they lost. That Florida State game wasn't so much a wake-up call as it was a blip on the radar. EVERY team has that. No matter how fired up you are. It does happen. As for the year UK lost to Mississippi State fired them up for the national title, people say that but that isn't true. Mississippi State was just a team on a mission that year. You don't think that Kentucky wouldn't have been fired up for the NCAA Tournament with or without a loss to Mississippi State? State was a Final Four team you just have to give them credit for beating Kentucky.
