Well, it is true we didn't have any close races but there was a question about whether to hold an IL Constitution Convention. There were TV ads and because NW Indiana is part of the Chicago viewing area we did get some Presidential ads.

Illinois doesn't require a voter to declare a party affliation when registering. Primary elections a voter can just pick a Party and the next election that same voter can pick another Party in the Primary. Makes for lots of drama.

Obama had my vote in 2004. This year is the first time I can remember being disheartened about voting. I've voted in every election since turning 18 - 35 years - so what:(
