It's minus 7 at 11 am and it might reach minus 2 today.

I'm really looking forward to Saturday when it should be in the 20s.

The kitchen sink drain is frozen. Actually, the water will trickle down very slowly. Better a drain than a water pipe. I have a basement bathroom faucet on 24/7 thru Saturday morning. I know it's wasteful but so are pipes that burst. Living on a Great Lake I do admit to taking water a bit for granted.

My mom likes lots of light and we have lots of windows - old windows. I've run out of plastic and tape. Have two layers on almost all of them.
