10:30 pm I notice the radiators are cold. It's 8 above and the heat goes out. Try getting a heating tech to come out on a cold night. Or even getting one to call you back with a service fee and estimate time. One guy quoted $125 just to walk in but I didn't want to walk 4-5 hours. I finally had three calls in and one company arrived at 1:15 am. It took 20 minutes to repair and cost only $198. Last May we had a 500 repair. It's only 5 years old. When I ask how long is the part warranty and am told 90 days, well what else can one expect.

I had hoped 2009 would be better. I was glad to see 2008 go.

Yes, there are worse things like illness and death. We've had that in the family as well this year but I can't post all my personal stuff on-line.
