Subject: Crime drama in the backyard (or close enough)


Ok, I wake up about 7:30 am and check the weather out the front window. I hear a helicopter (maybe two) which, since we live near an expressway (traffic reports) and not too far from the airport, isn't all that unusual, it happens. I turn on the local news and see an overhead picture of a golf course and the reporter says something about a gunmen believed to be hiding there.

Oh, I wonder where that is and the next thing I hear is that it's the golf course across from where I go grocery shopping. Since I walk to the store with my grocery cart, it's c-l-o-s-e. Later, a helicopter was going back and forth as if it was looking through the alleys.

Oh well, life in the big city.
