Two guys came to rod out the drain under the kitchen sink and the part connected to the pipe in the wall broke off so IN ADDITION to the $75 for the rodding they tell me it will be another $150! They went down to $125 (senior discount) after I had a hissy fit. $200!

I should have said don't fix it and declare that I wouldn't pay for the $75 rodding until they could prove the drain was running. (Couldn't do that with it all apart.) But I didn't think of it and my mom wouldn't have been very happy. She was unhappy either way - so might as well get it fixed.

All they did was go out and buy a rubber coupling (what? they don't carry that on the truck!) and connect the two pipes!
