Subject: Weather thwarts my Second try for Who wants ot be a Millionaire


OK so today was the audition for Millionaire but we (Chicago area) had so much rain and wind damage the night before that I didn't think I could get there on public transit so I didn't go.

On the upside no water in the basement (yet) but I did use up a lot of energy picking up stuff just in case.

Wild Weather can be so tiring. *sigh*

Last night there we so many different color coded warnings that I couldn't keep track. Flood Warning Flash Flood Warning Thunderstorm Warning

I looked out the window and said, "Mom, I think we should go down to the basement." When the wind is blowing the rain horizontally something is up.

Didn't have any problem getting mom to agree. If I had been in front of her she would have knocked me down the stairs. *sheesh*
