Hi there logical

Merry Christmas

And here's a Christmas Story

At dinner yesterday my 3 year old nephew B was asked what he wanted for Christmas and he answers "tools"

His mother wonders where that reply came from since he has never mentioned wanting tools before.

My mother looks at me because....

Two weeks ago I'm out Christmas shopping and I'm trying to decide what to buy my Nephew B. His mom said - no trucks, no cars, no trains, no blocks no stuffed animals because he has too many of all of the above. She suggests coloring books, arts type stuff, educational toys, musical etc.

So I'm at a mall with a Sears in the middle. You have to walk through the Sears if walking from one end of the mall to the other. I always forget that Sears has a section with hardware and Christmas stuff if you make a left turn instead of going straight. I told myself to remember to make that left into the section I always forget to visit.

I had just spent an hour in a Kaybee Toy Store trying out everything but decided to shop around some more. So I'm in Sears and head to the hardware/Christmas section and discover Sears toy section. They had toy replicas of Craftsmen Tools - drills, circular saws etc. I see this tool box with plastic tools for age 4+ and one is open and I check it out and think it is the greatest thing. No small parts and it's educational and my sister-in-law said that age 4 or 5 would be okay since he is ahead of his age. And it's fun and I like it and it's only $10. I was thrilled. I get home, show my mom who isn't that impressed but who cares 'cause I had that perfect gift feeling.

So it's true, I do think like a three year old. *g* and sometimes aunts do know best.
