Subject: Borer is bad in Chicago

The Emerald Ash Borer has appeared in Chicago. It kills ash trees. Chicago has about 95,000 ash trees or 20 per cent of the tree population.

I suppose they could use the wood for baseball bats and get rid of the maple bats.
