Well, I'd rate this storm third or fourth worst in my life time.

Brookfield Zoo held its groundhog ceremony on Feb. 1. No shadow. Spring is right around the corner. Make a right turn at Ohio and head to Florida.

The zoo decided to close today for only the second time in its history. Yesterday the Chicago Public Schools announced they would be closed today. The first weather closure since 1999. They never like to close. The street in front of our house is full of drifts. We lost power for about 2 minutes at the start of the really strong winds about 5:30pm. That made our hearts race a bit. At 7am it was quiet but the snow and wind have started again. Going to be below zero tonight.
