...and in England, it has been wildly windy, gloomy like a volcanic cloud hovers above us and cold! It is what we call a 'bank holiday weekend' for no other reason than that we like them.

I spent the day trying to mediate a major hoo-ha, shin-ding, shin-kicking rumpus which has broken out among local poets. Never, ever think that poetry (or as druids call it 'bardism) is a quiet, demure little pastime. Oh no. There have been insults, enraged adjectives, hissy fits and a lot of stropping off and banging of doors and it has gone on for two weeks. *groan*

April here though was warm and balmy and so my vegetables have had a great start and my salad is tasty.
