Massive rolling thunderstorm here yesterday - lightening and hailstones and the trees throwing themselves about with gay abandon.

I gave up on gardening and chose to read on my bed, when hurtling up the stairs, wailing about the sky falling in on her head, came my young cat, Danu. She's so indignant about the weather - seeming to think I can organise it for her personally and she'll shout loudly until things improve for her...Only when she had buried herself deep *under* the duvet, still occasionally mewing pitifully, did she feel safe.

2 hours later:
Me: are you still under there?
Danu: Mew! (no!)
Me: the storm has stopped now, it's safe.
Danu: Mew, Mew, Mewww. (I'm not coming out! Shut up! It'll KNOW WHERE I AM.)
Me: There's chicken.... the others are eating it?
Danu: MEW! (I don't care. They can have it.)
Me: What's this!? It's... a sheep on a string!
Danu: SILENCE Tail twitching. Mew (I hate that sheep)

Which is good, because she had to emerge in order to bite it!
