But peace didn't last forever, just like they had for the past 3 years the nightmares came, only this time there was a new twist. No longer was she being beaten upon without hope of rescue. Instead she could hear someone's voice, calling her...telling her it'd be okay. She must've thrashed in her sleep for the glass of water fell to the floor in a crash, startling her from the unhealthy dream in a flash of bright red. Shuddering slightly optics looked towards the door, it was still closed. The clock showed 6am, she would have been getting up in a few hours anyways. Never able to sleep past 8am.
