 The mare gave one more longing glance at the retreating herd before returning her glance back to the other. SHe lowered her dial, now that she didnt have a herd stallion she was a loner. She took a couple careful steps towards the new steed and nickered softly.

The dun filly jumped to get up, but with the humans grip, it didnt allow it. SHe squirmed about, and let out a shrill whinny for her dam. For being knocked over and nearly trampled, the yearling was in good shape, she only had a bruise and a small cutt on the shoulder ojn which she fell on. SHe tryed to push her body away from the humans.
