 The older dun snorted and made his way through the herd, giving friendly nudges to random mares before reaching his mate and laying down. The 1 1/2 year old colt looked at the mare and nickered back, He snorted and moved aside a little at her nudges, this was new, most of the mares just ignored him. He was lucky, most of the colts his age were kicked out.
