She pat Whiskeys neck turned him towards the colt, running alongside him, close enough to control with her horses herd sense yet far enough out of the way of flying hooves and teeth, rope still swinging above her head, not yet for catching, but just as a control tool, to try to get the colt to do as she wanted, she manuvered Whiskey still attempting to break the colt from the herd, she got on the side of the colt, between him and his herd and turned Whiskey out, attempting to drive the colt away from Whiskey as well as the herd, he would be easier to manuver away from the others*
