Flitting in and out of the shadows across the plane, only just glimpsed before disappearing again, finally it came into view.
A mare, beautiful as the dawn light into which she gracefully stepped, a picture of grace and elegance. From her fine lines and intelligent head, one would have thought her to be tame, the product of centuries of breeding, but the spark in her eyes and fiery tread told her to be otherwise. Wild and free as the chill wind blowing from high off the snow capped mountains, she pranced a little further into the open to graze.
Buckskin � coat like golden silk, mane as black as night, the siren stood poised like a statue in the bitter cold early morning, ears flickering nervously, for she could sense a humans presence�
