The sky was a pale orange as the sun began to rise, the birds were still sleeping and the predators were at rest. Hooves were heard echoing around the valleys. Two large stallions came into view, a black and a brown. One slightly taller than the other, the black much larger. The two halted and looked around before trotting around silently to explore. A few minuets later the black stallion called on his brother, who came rapidly galloping. He had discovered a new and safely hidden territory. It was equipped with a fresh flowing stream, acres of lush grass, tall shady trees and an extremely large cave to rest and hide. It was lined with tall bushes to keep it from intruders. The brown stallion nodded in agreement and nudged his brother, he reared and kicked at a tree, tattooing it with his hoof so he could find the correct place. The two stallions travelled back to the herd and whickered.

"We have found a new home, safe from predators."

Announced the black stallion, the leader. He waited for his lead mare to come before he asked the mares and young to follow him to the new home. He set of at a medium pace, it would only take them an hour or so to arrive.

The tall brown stud made his way to the rear of the herd, keeping them together. He whickered to them all in joy, happy to move to a safe place.
